The Little One

She’s third

on the ladder of life

made her way

from the mountain

couldn’t have another

doctors said this one

was the last-

no complications

brought her little

smile to momma

who loved her to

pieces through life

and daddy too

was on the same

team – a cuddling

father who barely

left her side.

Now mom and

pop are older

and resting – their

grown up girl

full of blessings.
