“How great Thou art”
a resident whispers
aware of His presence since
days long ago
in Sunday School lessons--
she knows she’ll be entering
a heavenly home soon.
Her ears listen -- wheelchair
at attention. Eyes fixated
on arriving visitors.
Scratching her leg a daily
exercise -- tummy feels full.
Dinner was peas
chicken and potatoes – lettuce
nice and crispy. Also tea
and a dessert of ice
cream – a cherry on top
for a setting sun. Now her smile
fades as she seems to
diminish in shadow’s sway.

Wonderful to see that
Wonderful to see that awareness so precious when all else seems to be fading from memory and communication! Rhiannon

Nearer my God to Thee
Nearer my God to Thee. Did you see the motion picture of the Titanic Richard? As the collosal ship was sinking slowly into the sea the small orchestra just kept on playing. Very emotional stuff.
Stay well! Sala ghachle!
