A Matter of Opinion

And in her

mindset she suffers

for them-

her sister has a glitzy car

brother with more

than a pocketful of dimes

and she is homeless

on the street.

Someone in the family

has to play the role

why not her?

“The nights are cold

wet weather not my dream

yet safety no longer

a concern

since I smacked a burglar

with my 2x4 friend

last week.”
