An Older Age
By Richard L. Provencher
- 1596 reads
As I linger into
older age
my bones do crave
warmth ‘cause winter
weather seems to plunge me
into a chill-
not so when younger
days encouraged me to visit
many trout streams
and overcoming each hill
that challenged my
active self
and now I receive
strength from within
my heart
until the end
of days arriving too
quickly - I must allow
for moments
with friends and families
with hugs & kisses to
last their lifetimes.

Appreciated that Richard,
Appreciated that Richard, with the comment on the now of age, and the memories of younger activity, and the pleasure to be given to others in our remaining days! Rhiannon
