Talking with 3 sons

about being tall

the ways of real men

and how at times

when to say Amen

 

‘cause life can be tough

for boys to grow

and be the kind

folks wish to know--

 

respect the law

treat people as friends

and when times are bad

don’t be shy to cry.

 

When success comes

and the right woman

walks by your side

life turns for the best

 

love mom and dad

honour personal faith

hug your kids

and pray at night.
