Tell Them

you care
about those sharing water
with animals who
abuse their privileges

about ladies who walk baked
land in bare feet
pots overhead to a well
three miles away

where bandits like to prey
on bosoms and pretty faces.

And the world glances
when convenient seeing images
on TV where
children share pools of water
with buffalo poop
and sickness is a nasty friend.

Tell them.
