took her own life. The sky
claims this forlorn
creature laying on a bed of foliage
by the side of a river. A
good place to hide from any
prying eyes.
Her deed private although
discovery will
soon uncover the scene
scuffed boots jeans
and a light winter coat
a bit cool for this time of year.
And what will her
children say of the mom
they once loved?
Will disappointment taint them
as they view this lady
soon to be resting in a plot?
Night is fading and somewhere
among a copse of trees
a mourning dove is calling
to no one in particular
and the question of the day --
does anyone really care?

don't you think her kids
don't you think her kids love her because she took her own life? I am sure they do and that they care very much.

This reminds me of a YouTube film made in china of a large forest where hundreds have gone missing…?
In the spring and summer a warden goes tracking old campsites recording his gruesome finds. There he sorts through their scattered remains or worse having to report their hanged bodies fallen from the trees its very distressing stuff.
A vivid write Richard tactfully expressed.
