Poem of the Week

I am the poem of the week,
A little crazy, totally street,
D'you get what I'm saying to you?
I'm doing as I'm made to do.

You may laugh; you may titter,
Does that mean that you are bitter?
Or is it you who understands
That I'm the poem of the week?

I don't care where I end up,
A shooting star, a rubbish dump,
I know who I'm meant to be,
I am the poem of the week.

So as I sit upon this page,
That is my world, that is my stage,
I look to you to wish me well,
For, I, am The Poem, of the Week.
