WOULD YOU FORGET ME DOGGY?

O faithful friend by my side,
I look into your big brown eyes,
What would you do if I should die?
Would you forget me as time passed by?

You’re always there at my side,
Even when I want to hide,
As darkness draws in and the night turns cold,
You cuddle me with your heart of gold.

As I lie in bed with covers at high tide,
I feel your warmth by my side,
The duvet between us can not separate,
The comfort and safety you radiate.

You demand so little and give so much,
Your paws and nose with their gentle touch,
I gaze at you sleeping by my side,
And hear you breathing in gentle sighs.

What would you do if I should die?
