Today was the day my half-and-half expired. Fortunately, I spent my
last money on another carton before I could spend the same on beer. I
am well-stocked for groceries with approximately 25 cans of progresso
soup, a plethora of less desirable provisions and an eight-pound bag of
Arabica coffee. I also have two more cups worth of a gourmet coffee
that was advertised as having won an award in Portland, OR for being
the "best wake-up coffee." I took their advice and filched it.
I also got a good swim in. It was the first time the pool hadn't been
crowded in a long time. I'm going to apply to teach English in Japan as
a contingency plan in case I don't get into a Business school. I'll do
that tonight because I'm not positive my phone service won't be cut off
soon. I still have a cut on my right middle finger which won't heal
because I do too much typing as well as dishwashing. For that reason,
I'm going to put the rubber gloves on and endeavour to wash these
dishes.
