I got up this morning after a beautiful sleep. I had to choose
between more sleep and looking over the cover of my book. I like to act
quickly so I looked over the cover design and approved it. Then I
stopped in a coffeehouse and had a four-shot drink before work. I'm
doing technical trouble-shooting right now and I'm no good at it. But
today, the sun smiled on me and I did rather well on my calls.
Then we had a group talent show, which was actually fascinating.
Normally, we all do this boring job together but today, my co-workers
shined. One woman sung a thirties style song about our managers. My
friend Longhair Danny juggled for us and was quite good. Carla, who's
helped me with some difficult calls, showed us her watercolors, one of
a forest and the other of a garden; they showed a beautiful attention
to detail. I read a couple of my poems.
Well, I have to go give a co-worker a ride.
