Oh, I am sorry, Shannan. Once it starts getting at you, it gets even more difficult to filter it out at all, I guess. Are any other neighbours affected? I know we once had a neighbour who just didn't realise that loudspeakers fixed to the adjoining wall weren't a good idea, and actually it only really got a problem I think when the parents were out, and so we were able to speak to the son more easily probably! But we were on good terms with them all.

You are always so kind to respond.

It's a boarding house I have had to move into for financial reasons and it's the teenagers in the boarding house next door. The girls are quiet but the boys get away with too much... Lots of politics involved unfortunately. Sigh.

The "Doef" is merely me trying to put the sound into a word ... Kind of needs the Afrikaans dialect of phonetics to sound right in its pronunciation.
