I love those fleeting
I love those fleeting glimpses of other lives from a train window, speed and stillness meet. The Degas pose is a lovely image, as is the winter jasmine wind wrap, an elderly ballerina in contrast to hard metallic lines, has a touch of Chagall about it too.

You've captured thoughts of a time and place so well in this poem Tina. I loved that first stanza: Especially:

Beautifully done.

I apologise for my tardy
I apologise for my tardy response to this poem, Tina, but I was busy trying to come up with something decent that I could offer for the Poetry Monthly.
Knowing my admiration for your poetic mastery you hardly need me to reiterate my sentiments but let me add to the accolade for this little gem.
Lots of love, Luigi xxx
