"What kind of troubles coming boy?" enquired Martha.

"Bad men are coming with fire, if we don't leave now, they will take us, please Martha believe me!"

"Oh! I believe you boy, don't you worry." Martha
looked at Nathen, "will you come with us Nathen?
you will be safe with us."

"Martha thanks but no, I can't...I must find my own
family," said Nathen.

Martha then turned to her daughter, "okay Missy, go
and round everyone up, we're moving on."

"Okay Mam!" shouted Missy, as she dashed out, running around the camp.

Martha went over to where Brad was sleeping and
shook him, "come on Brad, you gotta get up now!
don't know how you sleep, with all that racket
going on?"

"What's going on?" Brad lifted his head, it felt
like a hundred birds were singing in his head.

"We're leaving," said Martha.

"But I only just got here," Brad said, scratching
his head and yawning.

"There be trouble coming, now go get Tawny and load
up the Cart and Wagon and...get the horses geared
up."

"What!" said Brad half awake.

"Just do as I said," Martha was getting very frustrated with her son.

Missy was shouting at the children, they were not
really in the mood, to do as they were told that
morning, they were also very hungry.

"Teela!...Daisy! you get dressed now."

"No ma, we're hungry, we'll get dressed after
breakfast," demanded Teela.

Missy was getting angry, "I'll make yer breakfast,
but then you gotta get dressed, we're leaving...
cause bad men are coming. Now where's that brother
of yours? Alfie!...Alfie! where are you?
