She picked up Dijana, and she and Juraj ran as fast as they could. They ran for more than twenty minutes. Koloman was nowhere to be found. She stopped near a stop sign to catch her breath.
The train station wasn't far, so she continued to run towards it. Still fearing that Koloman was behind her. She was almost there, when a hand was placed firmly over her mouth.
"Make a sound, and you all will die."
He lead them at gunpoint into a black van, and drove away.

The next morning, Maike Alserda, former co-worker of Lenka's called the house several times looking for her. They were supposed to have lunch together that day, and it wasn't like her not to answer the phone. After the seventh ring, Koloman finally answered it.
"What do you want?"
He shouted into the phone
"I was just looking for Lenka. Is she around?"
Asked Maike
"No she's not. She took the kids up to stay with their Grandmother. We are planning on going away this weekend."
"That's odd. She never mentioned anything about that to me."
"That's because it is none of your business."
Shouted Koloman before hanging up the phone.
He looked around at the house contemplating cleaning it, but he changed his mind and went to work.
Several days passed, and there was still no sign of Lenka or the children anywhere. Koloman kept telling lies to everyone about their whereabouts, but soon, people stopped believing him, and reported Lenka and the children missing.
Koloman was furious that they got the police involved.
They questioned everyone who knew Lenka for information, but most were of little help.
Koloman proved to be most uncooperative.
Nearly everything he said to the police was a lie except when he told them that there had been a fight on the night that she and the children disappeared, and that was the last time he saw them. The officers did not believe him.
Three days later, the bodies of a woman and small male child were discovered by an older man walking his dog. They were found out in a field. Both had been decapitated, and their bodies mutilated. Only one of the missing parts was found. It was a tongue believed to belong to the boy. The bodies were badly decomposed, and appeared to have been severally tortured. They were later identified as Lenka and Juraj Zita. Police were puzzled as to why their bodies had decomposed so quickly in the time they had been missing.
Detective Stevan Broz was convinced that Koloman was responsible, and made it his mission to prove it.
They reviewed Lenka's medical history, and found that she had come in several times with cuts and bruises, but always claimed she had fallen.
Some neighbors came forward to say that they had overheard arguments on many occasions, and some claim to had seen Koloman through their window hitting Lenka, but they didn't want to get involved. Lenka rarely left the house, so few people knew if she had been beaten or not. Maike Alserda admitted to seeing Lenka full or bruises. Once she even confided in her that Koloman had beat her, and she wanted to leave him, but felt it was not a possibility. They interviewed Koloman's co-worker's, and they told Detective Stevan Broz that he had many affairs, and when asked about his wife, he would call her bad names, and say that he was unhappy in the marriage, and dispised that children. Detective Broz arrived at the house of Hanna Simoneit, current girlfriend of Koloman's, and asked her a few questions about him. She claimed he had promised to leave his wife, and marry her. He even bought himself a black van, which he hid in her garage from his wife.
Detective Broz immediately called in the forensic team to look for evidence in the van. Blood and hair was found that belonged to Lenka, Juraj, Dijana and Koloman. This along with other evidence collected elsewhere was enough to make an arrest.
Dijana was still missing, and everyone feared the worst.
