The Angel's Silence 39

Five hours had passed, and Dr. Konstantin had finished evaluating Rayna. his findings surprised him.

He reviewed them with older, more experienced doctors and they all said that there was nothing mentally wrong with her.

Dr. Konstantin did not agree with these findings. He believed that there was something wrong with Rayna, but nothing he or anyone else did seemed to isolate what exactly it was. She was allowed to leave the room. They came to the conclusion that she was no longer a hazard to herself or anyone else.

John's test results finally came in. He had been in a frozen state since five hours earlier. The results showed that he had been poisoned with a paralyzing substance. However, it's exact origins were unknown. Doctors rushed to find a way of saving John. He could no longer breathe on his own, and needed the help of a machine. Doctors could find almost no brain activity in him. It was almost like he was dead. His pulse was faint. Experts were called in from other cities and countries. It would be a while before any of them would get there, so doctor's had to monitor him carefully.

Rayna went looking for Caelia. She desperately needed to apologize to her. She assumed she was still with Maya. However, when she got to her room, Caelia was no where to be seen.

"Hi, Maya. Have you seen Caelia recently? I really need to speak with her."

"She just stepped out to find something to eat in the cafeteria. She should be back soon."

Said Maya

At that very moment, Caelia walked back into the room. Rayna looked at them both as she said,

"I just want to deeply apologize to both of you. I have been terrible this whole time, and I will make it up to you."

Her apology speech went on for several minutes. It appears (For now at least) everything is fine with them.

Mariya had just finished speaking to Antanas' doctor. There was still no change with him, so she decided to drive back to Grazia salvifica hospital to see Maya. She felt bad for leaving Antanas alone, but she knew that he would be looked after constantly by nurses, and she was planning on coming back up there the next day. She got into her vehicle and began the long journey back to Valle Pacifica.

More than six hours had passed since Mariya began her journey home, and she had just arrived at Grazia salvifica hospital.

It was at this moment that she realized that she had been spending an awful lot of time at hospitals lately, and was looking forward to things getting back to normal.

Just as soon as Antanas awakens.

She immediately made her way back to Maya's room.

She was pleased to see Rayna, Maya and Caelia all getting along.

"I wonder how long this will last?"

She thought to herself while slowly stepping through the door.

She was welcomed by them all.

She was confused as to why Rayna seemed to be acting completely normal when the doctor told her that she was in a rage and they had to perform a psych examination on her.

"It is so good to see you girls doing better. Rayna, did you ever hear from the doctors about your report?"

Asked Mariya

"Yes. They said that there is nothing psychologically wrong with me.

They said that I was just stressed, and lost my temper. I am fine now, and have apologized to Caelia many times. I don't know what came over me to make me lose control like that."

Answered Rayna

They continued talking for nearly an hour.

Mariya was so glad that her daughters were doing better that she almost forgot about her husband, who was lying lifeless at another hospital several hours away.

Somewhere near a Valle Pacifica florist, a young couple was walking their dog when they discovered something that seemed insignificant, but would later turn to be the break the the Valle Pacifica police have been looking for.
