History class was over, and Mr. Antonov had left.
Rayna was watching Mr. Antonov as he left.
She wondered where he was going to, and had to find out.
She asked Mrs. Neroni.
Her hair was red, and cut into a bob.
She was 42 years old.
Stood 5'3" and appeared to weigh 135 lbs.
She was dressed in a short sleeved Azure colored top with three white buttons, and a floor length skirt that was
cornflower blue with sunflowers on it.
"Excuse me, Mrs. Neroni."
Said Rayna.
"What can I do for you, Rayna?"
Asked Mrs. Neroni.
"Nothing, really.
I'm just curious.
Why did Mr. Antonov leave?
I thought he would have work here to do."
"He told me this morning that he would have to leave early.
He didn't say what for.
I am so glad that he's here.
He really is an extraordinary man."
"Where is he from?
I noticed an accent."
"Oh, I'm not sure.
He never said.
He's always been a private person."
"How long have you known him?"
"For about 15 years.
I met him when I first started teaching.
He taught me so much.
I wanted to change careers, and become a nurse.
I felt like I could help more people that way, but he convinced me that it was my destiny to be a teacher,
and I never gave nursing school another thought.
Then, he moved to Europe, and I never saw or heard from him again until a few weeks ago."
"Thanks, Mrs. Neroni.
I plan on attending Vittoria University, and have heard about him, and his accomplishments.
It's an honor to have him teaching us, even if it's only for a week."
"That's what I thought you would say, Rayna.
You're one of my brightest students."

School was now over, and Rayna was looking for Maya.
She hadn't seen her in a while, and was wondering where she was.
She asked her friends, but they all claimed that they hadn't seen her.
After more than twenty minutes of searching, she found Maya behind the building making out with her boyfriend, Brent Tomov.
Maya saw Rayna staring at her, and immediately shouted,
"What the hell are you staring at?"
"I was looking everywhere for you."
"Well, you've found me.
So, what do you want?"
"To remind you that we have to come straight home."
"Now?
You know I always hang out with my friends after school."
"That's mom's new rule because of the murders."
"Well, that's stupid, and I'm not going home.
Tell mom that I won't be home for dinner tonight.
I'm having dinner with Brent, and his family."
"I was given orders to make sure you got home safely."
"Rayna, you're starting to annoy me.
Go away!"
Just then, Brent said,
"You know what, Maya.
Maybe it's better if you go home.
I don't want to get you in trouble."
He slowly walked away, leaving Maya even more furious at Rayna.
"I have told you in the past to stay out of my business.
Just because you don't have a life does not mean that you can ruin mine."
Rayna watched as Maya flipped her off, and ran after Brent.
She just stood there in disbelief.
She was just doing as she was told, and looking out for her sister, and she got treated badly for it.
