A British Spy 6

Gabriel inserted a thin needle into the center of the wine-cork until the needle let out on the other side of the cork. In the middle of the poisonous vial, there was a sticker he needed to remove. He removed the sticker and placed the vial horizontally over the needle, then pressed in the vial. The poison was slowly mixing with the wine.
He wondered why the plan had changed, why plans always changed. Francis or someone else was supposed to be watching him, but they were nowhere. So now, he was talking to Francis on the Internet. One blink and she was a spy. How did they trust him? Was his intuition so right? They had trusted him before and he had been right, but why so much trust? Or was it a matter of faith?
The "rain" signalled that the poison was in his room. "Tears of heaven dropping so slowly" signalled the location. Underneath the heaven... the ceiling in the kitchen.
He wondered where Francis was. He really did love her. He wanted her beside him, but he knew that she couldn't be here. He turned on the TV.
Then he turned it off.
