Dear Mrs. Kang,
It is with great sadness that I tell you a horrible news. Your son, Gabriel, is a deviant in the highest degree. He not only goes to strip clubs but is currently dating or living with a foreigner and to add, an American. He has greviously injured our traditions and should be thankfully damned. (As a sidenote, she is not even a pure American, but a salad of racial genes, Nabokov). He refuses to play along with our beautiful games. Poor soul. I would not tell you this, but that I feel that you should know these things, you, being a woman of incredible beauty and intelligence. I should continue this letter with many other indulgences, but that would be superfluous.
With the greatest respect,
Kim, Young Jing
It sounds good. It's only a first draft. I remember the first time I met Gabriel. He was so cute. What has happened to his face now? Not the same as it used to be... not the same at all. If truth be known, I really don't understand Gabriel. Us ladies of the Shilla Dynasty, we look down on men like him. Why is he so proud? What has he achieved? Does he want to be a black rap star? What exactly does a man want? In the symmetry of love, in the throes of love, what exactly does a man want? I was trying to get to Seoul and see the beautiful new buildings, but what does my boyfriend want? He probably wants to see Jerusalem or New York. Shall I do the laundry today? Shall I go to the party? What shall I do when my significant other is so out of tune?
Cindy de-escalated and stepped out. She walked out into New York for the first time. It was beautiful... the sound of the cars... the blue sky... and dreams of the land of the spirits.
