Love Ladders

Can one hear the voice of a lover
within one's own heart?
Does the sound of the other
travel through space and time
to ignite the flame of one's soul,
animating one's being?

know the meaning of an eye
turning a corner,
the phallic finger
that points to the moon,
it is easily seen.
One knows what the other is truly
saying,
one hears the subtext.
Two people in love see a vision,
a vision
of harmony.

When two are in love,
the meaning of the world is revealed.
Semiotics and symphonics,
they are together, whispering
the reality of things.
When imagination and reality become one,
one can see the future.
When two are in love,
life make sense as the present.

It's just so difficult to be so
conscious of one's deepest, buried feelings
that one is in love with the healing the other brings
continuously
unless
one's being is always loving the other's being.
