Mystery of your face, mirrors
of your grace,
many smiles have met those lips,
faint kisses filled with contempt, naked asps
dance in the air, twist
no one's fair.
Meeting you was like
nothing I expected... only the sun rose,
stole my oblivion,
your face is more terrible
than the seals of death.
I wished to unmask you, see you as you truly were,
not knowing
my death would precede yours.
I wished to be with you,
our bodies locked in mutual hatred,
no one could see
what we saw.
I'm sorry, your thoughts intertwined with mine,
and kissed the stars,
spreading delirium into the breasts of women.
