Every time someone moved, the lights shot onto that person. The intoxicating music of Electronic Harmonics filled the air like the smell of old wine.
"Never let me go
Betty Blue
Never let me know
another toe."
Francis danced. She liked to dance. Her body moved like a lithe form, in counterpoint to the rhythm of the music. The sounds permeated the air like a drunken, disembodied soul. Roman danced next to her, trying to understand the music. As he was watching her dance, he saw something in her. Francis was the Starbucks Goddess, the logo for Starbucks. Or rather her mother must have been.
"Let us dive into the Sea
and digress on Poetry,
See man in a drop of snow..."
Roman danced and danced and he was lit and lit and he tried to get into the music and he loved the music from head to toe and he loved the music. He danced and danced and danced and then he felt someone coming close to him. She led him to the bar.
-Roman, you are in danger.
-Am I really?
-Yes.
-What have I done?
-You've become a celebrity.
-What's wrong with that?
-They want to eat you.
Claire kissed him and he tasted delicious.
-I want to bite your breast and make a mark on it.
-Not so quick.
