Why has the world turned like this?

What has the world become or was the world

always this way?

The rich have taken over the world

and now

all they care about is money

for who cares whether this tribe kills this other tribe...

the result is the same as always.

We make the rich richer and wonder

why they act so wickedly rich as we did

when we first became rich, why

they do not give money to their poor but take from the poor

just as we did,

we wonder why everyone seems to be the same

when we started with the belief that everyone is different.

Nothing is enough... more and more and more

the middle class shrinks,

the richer get richer

adn things stay the same,

every 10 years, there's an eruption,

people wonder

why do all wars appear the same,

were those tanks the same ones used in the Afghan war?

Why can't we defeat these people in the jungle

with all these bombs and technology?

We do not have the will, the belief...

We support select groups or dictators to lead a country

then wonder

why they see us as a small minority

which possesses the power.

This is the globalism that we have supported, a globalism

which will destroy the middle class.

Where are we going? Round and round and round

until most of us become useless

and life becomes a Vanity Fair

of who has what, living vacuous lives,

meaning lost in the wind.
