hurry hurry hurry
don't do this
love those who are near and dear
don't greet enemies.
people come and go
prices for food are cheap
even with a 10% tax,
it's nice to see romance and flirtation
people really enjoying each other's company and loving...
here are the phalluses of modern culture, the totem poles
with the same same same repeated,
skyskimmers piercing the clouds hopefully
wanting to reach heaven
but modern society
is interconnected by sex and plumbing.
hurry hurry hurry
the modern masses move
deport to their individual cellphones
live completely solipsistic, narcissistic lives
powdered with glamour and individual charm.
can the upperclass really rule? everything is an investment to them,
everyone knows everyone and everyone is near and dear,
nicely coiffed
polite,
but life can still be life a friend's episode
where everyone backstabs everyone nicely and has slept with everyone...
things are a hit or miss...
upperclass people have coasted through the colleges
making connections
not really studying
but they know the tribal laws
but do they know reality
which is dark and wanting blood?
the trains are like modernist masterpieces
the stadium full of cheer and waves
are masterly orchestrated,
shall i eat a peach? as eliot once said?
hurry up its time
i slow down time with manners
but wonder with the rushes of crowds into trains,
the shopping districts cite times square
beautiful, uniquely born women advertise everywhere
simulated, not so subtle sexual transferrence
and the cool, collected look of officials

Liked this... although I was
Liked this... although I was a little creeped out because I could just imagine all of that really happening. Very well written.
