My name is Stuart and do you the readers believe in ghosts? Is there something strange happening in your home? Have you seen dark figures or heard whispering, and couldn't detect anything so you just shrugged it off as having an overactive imagination.
Because if so then it's most-likely you have a ghost roaming about your home?
I find that illumination decreases the enjoyment of ghost stories. So before you read on- Turn down the lights and get comfortable.
Now the scene is set and the lights are low.
I'll begin the true story about my investigation.
It all started with a paranormal investigation TV program called" do you believe in ghosts. "The program has me now wanting to find my own proof of ghosts, so I set out on my own investigation.
I started my investigation in a house, tucked away in an unexpected, sleepy corner of a Somerset town. To this day the place sits lonely and unused.
It was a clear evening to arrive at the house: the moon-light were lighting up the front of the building.
I opened the front door and inched into the darkness of the place and as I waited for my eyes to adjust. I thought I saw a dark figure near the window, but was it my overactive imagination.
Switching on my torch and moving away from the door something else caught my attention.
I heard the scurrying of what sounded like feet. My immediate thought was a ghost or was it rats?
Then I heard the scurrying of feet again? A tightening sensation engulfed my throat and my palate dried; this was fear in its purest form.
A cold shiver shot down my back as I heard a deep, low, and clear male laugh that sounded like it came from inside the room.
Maybe it was people outside walking past the window laughing? I opened another door, leaving this room behind me. Walking along a corridor, I entered a large open room.
Then I heard it, the typical bump in the night, coming from upstairs!
As I started to go up the staircase I suddenly froze. At the top of the landing was a transparent figure of a person. It then turned and looked straight at me with glowing red eyes. It started laughing, and then slowly disappeared through the wall.
I'm sure I was imagining it. I mean it was past mid-night, and I was feeling tired?
I shrugged my shoulders, and went down stairs. I swear I heard footsteps coming down the stairs from behind me.
I shook off the thought, and continued my way down the last two steps, when I tripped, or was I pushed by unseen hands?
Laying on the floor I looked back at the stairs and in the dim moon-light I saw it again, the figure With glowing red eyes coming down the stairs. Then I heard the scurrying of feet again. Stones and little rocks suddenly started hitting me in the body and face.
That's now enough proof for me to believe in ghosts!
Through doorways and corridor, I ran tripping as I went screaming out of the house.
In future I'll leave the staff of do you believe in ghosts, to find the proof?
