No one

no one knows where she went 

she never said goodbye

a worried look in mum and dads eyes

cause she never said  why

they could not move 

when they saw no note

the tears streaming down from their eyes 

what did we do 

we were so good to her 

she never gave us  any trouble 

wish she come home 

we want her back  home

well she went to the big city 

thinking she fine a new life 

but all she found was hate and fear

 sometimes  she was scared for her life 

her mum and dad walked the bedroom floor at night 

never talking to each other

and after a while  to fill in the void 

they had her baby brother

she woke up one morning 

and she was all alone

with a note saying 

 your better then this 

now go 

she picks up a phone

and she calls her 

home 

her mum pick up the phone 

and when she hears her voice 

she fell to her knees

she knocks on the door 

she did not open it as before 

and before she knew it 

they were all crying and hugging 

now years has gone by 

she is happy again 

her mum and dad are long gone 

but she still remembers 

the night she run away

but she knows she one of the  lucky ones 

some never come home
