she was scrare when he came in the door
she never knew
if a sudden move
would make him
hit out more
she knew in her heart she did nothing wrong
but almost everyday
he fine something
to make him
hit her every day
oh she told me
he was not always like this
that when they met
oh it was so bliss
but one day
she did not agree with him
and he hit her around the face
i said to her
leave him
she said i cant
i say why
she said
he not to blame
i said
he making you
feel that way
she said
i know
and cry a tear
but she said i love him
oh i love him
well what can you do
when someone so in love
it blind for them
to know what to do
so i just be there on the end of the phone
so if she wanted to
she could phone me when he was not home
to the outside world
there seem a lovely couple
when people hear scream
night after night
one brave man knock on her door
and said are you alright
she open it a little and said
yes i am
now please go away
and if you hear anything
don't call back today
oh it was such terrible night
the thunder was so loud
kept me awake all night
but i could not sleep
there was something on my mind
at 3am was a knock at the door
and they stood a soaking wet policeman
who said there been a terrible accident
oh i rush to her side
but her life was slipping away
and with her last breath
she whisper to me
i could not live without him
even if he was bad
so i said to him let go for ride
well we got into a fight
i put my foot down
as hard as could be
and i crash into to that tree
knowing and hoping it would kill
him and me
she look at me and said thanks for being there
but now its to late i left you a note
with everything you need to know
and with this
her last air on earth was gone
now i stand by her grave
i read the note
it said
i love him
he love me
i must be the one to blame
but i did noting wrong i known
that
but to stop him
there must be no way back
be happy and smile
cause i am free
but every now and then
remember me
remember i love him so
