A Wave of Pirates 12 "Surprise, surprise"

I sat on the couch in the living room feeling completely hopeless. The only way we would be able to escape now was with our boat.
But how many pirates were left outside? It couldn't be too many. Jack and Henry had gotten rid of most of them. But Billy was still out there, and I wonder who else...
I leaned forward in the couch and started thinking hard. But not about who else was outside. I started thinking of ways to get Brandy safely to the boat at the back of this small island.
What if Billy had went to the boat and was waiting for us? Or maybe he had set up some traps.
I rubbed my hand over my knuckles and gritted my teeth. Brandy didn't have that much time on her side. She needed medical treatment.
If it hadn't been for that damn Harris, she'd still be fine.
I looked up at the clock over the unused fireplace. It was just pass four pm. And I think it was only Saturday, I haven't really been keeping track of time.
Brandy might not last pass Sunday. Our parents will all be expecting us by Monday morning. But I'm sure they wouldn't send anyone out for us until atleast Tuesday.
I sighed. "What the hell should I do?"
Then an idea came to mind. I could use myself as bait. To lure Billy away from the area of the boat. Then I could have Jack and the others take Brandy to the boat.
Maybe I could find a way to catch up with them. It would be worth a shot. And there wasn't much to lose.
I stood up and out the corner of my eye, I saw something move pass the window.
My heart thudded in my chest and I grabbed the hand gun off the coffee table in front of me.
I pointed it at the window but ofcourse there was no one there now. I sighed and let out a loud groan. This was so frustrating. I couldn't even relax without worrying if someone was outside.
I flinched and spun to the stairs as I heard it creak. But it was only Henry making his way downstairs with Edward behind him.
Henry had to be the only one that wanted Edward here. So I guess Edward was sticking to him like glue.
"Whoa." Henry said as I lowered my gun. "You're kind of jumpy."
"I-I thought I saw someone out there." I stammered. Wow, was I a wreck?
"You may need some more rest, man." Henry said as he finally stepped off the last step.
"No way," I said. Then my eyes widened. "The back door. Wait here. We have to get everyone to come back downstairs to guard this place. Where are they?"
I ran into the kitchen and examined the doors and windows. Nothing unusual.
Then something shattered in the living room. I ran back into the living room and saw that the last window had been knocked out.
"Billy," I said aloud. "He's toying with us."
I heard footsteps coming down the stairs behind me but this time I didn't turn around.
"What the hell is going on?" Someone asked.
"It's one of the pirates." I said. "We have to be careful. And stay as alert as possible."
I heard more footsteps going up the stairs but I still kept my eyes near the window.
I walked slowly to the window with my gun in front of me. As I got closer I saw something lying out on the sand.
It was a... some kind of antique. A golden elephant.
"Yo... How come there's no glass on the floor?" Someone asked.
I looked down at the floor and noticed that there wasn't any glass. He was right.
I swallowed and turned away from the window. There was a small table against the wall... and several antiques on it.
Someone in here threw something outside? Why?
Then I noticed something else. Where was Edward?
"Henry, did you---?"
Pow! Pow!
I stopped in midsentence as I heard two loud gunshots from upstairs.
