If You Only Knew

I wrap my hands around your throat
Feel the amount of lies that try to escape
I'll gladly push them back down
So that maybe you will choke
You would never know what it's like to be us
To be liked and cared for
I see the jealousy on your face
When we're happy
You can't see what you've done
Ripped us each apart for no reason
What was your gain to do any of it?
No one will feel sorry for you anymore
Some people don't see what we do
A beast of self loathing sits and stares
Feeling the sting of rejection
And all you see to solve it is to hurt
You'll get what you deserve
I can promise you only that
You'll never be the same when you lose everything
You'll wish you had died
When there's nothing left you'll try and come back
Crawling on your knees, begging and pleading
We'll turn a blind eye as your words fall on deaf ears
I'm sorry will never be enough
When everything is said and done
I'll still be a better person
Look me in the eye and I'll tell you
I'm everything you wish you were
