The Big Bang Theory – Part Two
I don’t know when I first started to notice it, or if it was someone who told me about it, but I DO remember flicking through the channels and thinking, “I don’t believe in the big bang theory,” and continued flicking through the channels, and usually stopping when I arrived at Two And A Half Men! How fab is that!? For me it was laugh out loud comedy. My favourite character was without doubt, Rose!!!! And Alan’s second Wife, who was “Twenty two and a half!” I loved Bertha’s one liners and their Mum Evelyn, Charlie Sheen was amazing and I would NEVER watch it with the other guy in it! Never! It’s wrong. My family was sick of me watching it but I just loved it!!! And watched it over and over again, what could possibly top that?
I just can’t seem to remember how I started watching it .... I think I may have been at work and someone else was watching it and laughing and I asked them what they were watching, yes it’s come back to me now, they had told me it was, The Big Bang Theory and that it was a comedy and not THE big bang theory as I has thought.
So, I started watching it, this year and I very quickly LOVED it!!!! It took over my daily fix of Two And A Half Men! My favourite character is the one and only Sheldon Cooper!!! He is laugh out loud. How comes Jim Parsons name is not first on the credits!!!!???? I watched on YouTube the Comedy Con where they are all together and they all talk, as a Host asks each of them questions, (here they are not acting but they are themselves), so they all get a chance to speak but when it opened up to the audience, the majority of the questions is for Jim Parsons! How does he remember his lines? Such an incredible mind! I don’t really have a second favourite, but if I had to choose one it would be his Mother!!! How funny is she!!!
I love his ‘innocents’ that comes across SO well in his acting, and here are a few of my very favourites, the one where they are at the table at work, and he asks the man behind him for his phone number, and man says, “What the heck” and writes it on his arm! I didn’t think anything could beat that but, but the one where all four of them are again at the same table, and he finds out his friend had used his toothbrush, and he ends the friendship there and then! The friend then says, he’d bought him a toy train, and Sheldon said, “With real steam?” The third one I only caught the last half but it was fantastic! It’s when Penny and her boyfriend have split up and it’s like Sheldon is their Son and she takes him to Disney!
I love the guy who owns the shop! I read somewhere he is the highest paid actor in America? And the guy who can’t speak properly! I don’t know if I have seen all the old ones yet, but I enjoy the repeats, again and again and again.
If you love it too, what’s your favourite?
