What Does He Want? His Name To Go Down In History...... His Poor Wife And Kids!

The last time I heard about him, I thought he was nuts! But he did it; he walked across the Grand Canyon, on a tight rope! That was last year and after I had watched it, not live, I had respect for him. For his name had gone down in history as crossing it successfully. I think it was a horrible thing to put his Wife and children through. There was a lot publicity last year June before he did it, but it seem by accident last night that I heard he was doing it again! But this time he will be walking from one skyscraper to another BLIND FOLDED!!! How silly is that! Like my Daughter just said to me, about his Great Grand Father Karl who died while doing his act, he was in his 70’s, that some people in their 70’s have problems with their balance, and to be up there..... My daughter, Megan and I last year watched Karl doing his act and falling, we watched it over and over again.... for it just seemed unreal.

So tonight is another chapter in the Wallender name, for Nic Wallender will make his name in history whatever happens, if he makes it to the other side or falls to his death, either way he will be news tomorrow, but for how long will he be news? His poor Wife and kids it’s for them I feel sorry for, for who can do such a thing? Why doesn’t he just do something else? Has he got a death wish? Something in his blood that he MUST self destruct? How must he be feeling now, at this time? It will be on my TV from midnight, if I don’t fall asleep first.... or drop off...... I think it will be on until 2am my time. I would want to change my mind! But all the TV crews, reporters, sponsors’ fans, will be there. I wouldn’t want to see it live, or be there, for I know there will be a few seconds time delay, watching it on TV.

I hope for his Wife and kids sake, that he makes it but, personally I doubt he will. Megan has set the TV box to record it. I intend to watch it from midnight tonight...
