That last song I have to give her

The desolation
of passerby
carlights
adorn the sky
in stunning revelation
alone,
stumbling
without,
along vacant sidewalks,
at four a.m.
Barefeet
bloodied
along cobalt pavement
skinning mortar
The brevity of it
in no more
than the unsung speech
beneath a net
of ailing stars;
all the things
relinquished
given repeatedly,
I've re-wired the sky
to name and claim it
as mine.
asperse the indelible smudge
upon the horizon.
It's the deaf morning song,
that cascades somewhere
trembling in the heads
of the insomnia
I'm living in;
a horror
in knowing
my heart
is
confined to you
and only you.
and it's stark absurdity.
We are entwined
like two parasitic nightmares
from which we'll never wake
Sleep is the impossiblity,
you are my reverie
and plight,
Undone- with no plause
for which to fight.
