What could he want?
Wanting has worn off
like the swollen denim
of old belt loops.
The crave when his
pants
disappear.
He hungers-
I cave to hurried want.
Desire, scourge
creature dowsed in habit.
What worth
comes
from want?
What am I below?
a speculum of his tiring breed
the places he can never go.
barely like the daze
of bleary fornication
no objections
from object,
sweet lazuline.
my claws tattered
with his skin,
membranes melting
under acrid ferocity
The riddles
pulled us in,
a languid finish.
