Plug in. Switch on. Boot up.
Blisteringly hot, my dated but nevertheless
well-maintained, fan-cooled mechanism
begins to trembles as I unleash
a loaded memory stick from
its snug compartment and prepare
to unpack my potent love package.
USB to USB, gold-plated Scart to
gold-plated Scart via the appropriate cables
I upload an urgent dose of information
into your silicon rich innards.
You shudder, poised, trembling
your eyes roll back in your head
like a shark at the heart of
a bloody, merciless feeding frenzy
rolling in for the kill as the data is filed
in neat segments of binary code
on your seriously overloaded Sata.
The needle of your struggling CPU meter
flickers pathologically back and forth,
the red light flashing on and off
as the surge within your lusciously furred
love battery reaches danger level.
Overcharged, our sumptuous love-light flickers,
and your hair is an unruly yet incomparably
beautiful mess. Sweat drips methodically
into the sensitive sensors of my twin monitor
web-cams, sweet and salty in the same timeless,
wondrous, never-rending instant, and
thoroughly satiated we log off for the night.
