Plot: When you're born your parents are forced to give the government control over your emotions, in the form of a wristband which everyone must wear to regiment their emotions. This story follows the diary entries of you, Cynthia Goodrow, navigating the world through each age and trying to figure out how and why the government seems to regiment everyone.

[Note: this part is written as if a five year old were writing it, that means there will be multiple spelling and grammar errors to make the story come closer to the brink of realism. If you don't like grammatical errors or bad spelling makes you uncomfortable, you can skip over to the next entry.]

Dear Diary
Today isn't going well. My friends all decided to leave me, I had to sit alone for lunch. Worse, that bracelet's blue light pierces my eyes wherever I go, I tried to pull it off, but that only made it feel tighter. It's so strange.

Dear Diary,
You won't believe what I found in the library today. It all started when I was helping out the librarian after school, my wristband was orange, the light was calming and content. There's some really good books in the staff-only section, but according to the rules "staff-only" wasn't limited to just staff, volunteers were allowed access. I found a book, all about the wristbands we wear each day and what they're planning to do with them. I haven't gotten too far, because anytime someone comes in my room I have to hide the book. It feel like I hold so much power in a book.
"Through multiple studies the government found out the amount of crime in areas were going up, mental associations had no space for new guests and people were turning insane. That's when the idea came to them. Find a way to make them feel how we want them too, they'll never be able to feel their tipping point to insanity." --- The Power of a Bracelet, written by Robert Reed, restricted to the public due to averting the crisis if people found out what was happening to them.

I've been wondering
I've been wondering myself if soon it would be mandatory to have a cell phone number and an email address. You know, like an ID number assigned at birth. Frightening. I know where you're coming from.
" It is good to have a cellphone but it is better to not have one" a very wise man once told me.
Such an "emotions" bracelet might make procreation and courting easier but they will soon put a stop to that.
