I lost You.

I lost you...
Among the brick and stone
the cotton and the soul,
You slid beneath the cracks of patterned tile,
You flew between the dust and air.
Someone said they saw you,
melt into the tacky frames.
At the playground ,along with laughter,
salty rocks and tears.
Others said they witnessed you,
wrap yourself,around the majestic trees.
Trees more alive,
Brightened by your presence.
Glinting under fat autumn moons.
Dancing with the stars ,and swaying in the breeze.
Seeping from weak purple veins ,
into the pungent roots of grass.
You made with pretty daisies, milky in the sun.
You let the earthworms shine,
a string of pinky pearls.
Right from my ruby crystalled temples
to my silk encrusted toes,
I Lost You.
In one body, destructive as we were,
It simply did not work
But spread beyond the Earth
Beauty beyond compare.
