The Astounding Circus Boy

In Big Top city there was a superhero called Circus Boy; he was a super acrobat and juggler and used his amazing circus skills to fight crime.
One day, the daughter of the chief of police was kidnapped by a gang of terrible crooks who were demanding a hundred thousand pounds for her return and so the chief called in Circus Boy for help.
Circus Boy turned up riding on an Elephant called Lucy and because Lucy had an amazing sense of smell, Circus boy asked her to smell the kidnappers ransome letter with her long trunk.
Then, with circus boy riding on her back, Lucy sniffed out the location of the kidnappers hideout.
It was one of the floors on a tall towerblock and Circus boy could have taken the lift or climbed up the stairs but he was sure that the kidnappers would have those guarded and so, instead, he fired a circus tight rope with a suction cup on the end from the window of a towerblock nextdoor to the kidnappers building and then, using his amazing tightrope walking skills, he walked across it before, with all the strength of a circus strongman he broke the lock upon the window of the kidnappers apartment and then, sliding the window open, leapt inside.
Immediately he was met by three tough looking gangsters with guns.
But, thinking quickly, Circus boy picked up things from nearby; a lamp; a vase of flowers and a tea pot and then, juggling them over his head, he hurled them with amazing accuracy at the three gangsters, knocking them out one by one.
But then suddenly, out of a nearby room came the boss of the kidnappers who, it turned out was an evil circus clown.
Then, before Circus boy could do anything, the clown sprayed him with a purple laughing gas that made him burst into an uncontrollable fit of laughter.
"Aha-ha-ha-ha-ha", went Circus boy, unable to stop laughing.
Then the evil clown took out a gun and pointed it at circus boy ready to shoot him.
But then, because Circus Boy was laughing so much, he fell backwards onto the end of a long coffee table and, when he did, it flipped the coffee table up just like a see-saw and the vase that was on the coffee table was catapulted through the air towards the evil clown and, hitting him right on his red nose it knocked him unconcious.
Ofcourse Circus boy was still rolling about on the floor laughing because laughing gas takes a while to wear off but, when it did, Circus boy entered the room that the evil clown had come out of and, finding the police chiefs daughter there, bound to a chair, he untied her.
Then Circus Boy and the Chiefs daughter both rode back to police headquarters on the back of his elephant Lucy and, as a reward for his outstanding bravery, Circus Boy was given a police medal and he gave the Police Chief and his daughter two tickets to watch him perform his amazing circus stunts.
