1st Verse:
We remember the brave drone pilots,
sitting snugly in their swivel chairs;
a million miles away from all the violence;
killing civilians without a care.
2nd Verse:
We remember the couch potatoes,
deleting lives from their computer screens;
the little martian brains who operate those
bizarre War of the Worlds killing machines.
Chorus:
Here come’s lady liberty;
she has titanic feet you see,
to step upon both you and me.
You can run but you can’t hide.
Here comes the swarm of machines;
it’s war but much more neat and clean.
We’re part of some snuff movie scene.
No one real to them has died.
3rd Verse:
We remember all the high scorers
who played computer games with human lives;
they scored a lot of points for us
children and parents; husbands and wives.
4th Verse:
We remember the brave drone pilots;
sitting and sipping coffee while they kill;
all of the unconscious Pontius Pilates
washing their hands of all the blood they spill.
Chorus:
Here come’s lady liberty;
she has titanic feet you see,
to step upon both you and me.
You can run but you can’t hide.
Here comes the swarm of machines;
it’s war but much more neat and clean.
We’re part of some snuff movie scene.
No one real to them has died.
