Dare To Love

If green shoots were far too timid
to set themselves free from seeds,
we would lose all of those vivid
colours that the springtime breeds.

If little chicks were all too shy
to hatch themselves out of their shells,
then we would never see them fly
and we’d lose their sweet song as well.

And who knows what gentle splendour
both our two young hearts may miss
if we do not surrender
to love and dare to take this kiss.
