Police Interview with Linda Linz in presence of the lawyer;
Torres: Did you go to Navigation Boulevard on 31st March to pick Natalia and Angela.
Linz: Correct.
Torres: Why?
Linz: Paul wanted to talk to them.
Torres: Can’t he do it without you?
Linz: Actually, they do not know each other. I do.
Torres: What did he ask you to do there?
Linz: Go and get the girls into the van.
Torres: Was Mr Paul Clancy with you in the van?
Linz: Yes.
Torres: Who else?
Linz: I saw Travis. He is the driver.
Torres: Do you know Travis Spano and Ricardo Ramos?
Linz: Yes.
Torres: Are they working for you?
Linz: No more. They work for him.
Torres: Was he carrying a gun?
Linz: I did not see a gun.
Torres: You didn’t go in the van?
Linz: No. I went in my car. The van was there.
Torres: Did you call Mr Clancy?
Linz: Yes sir. I told him I am seeing Mono…Natalia, in the crowd on my screen. He said they were in Del Rey.
Torres: Why did they go to Playa Del Rey?
Linz: Maybe, looking for me. I was the former owner. Paul is buying the property.
Torres: Has he paid?
Lawyer: Excuse! She will not say. Private property deals, we wish not to bring it up. For your information, yes, Mr Clancy is on schedule.
Torres: Alright. Did you enter this deal in December?
Lawyer: Yes.
Torres: Did Mr Paul Clancy ask Miss Linz to obtain a will from Savon Martin or to persuade him for any matter?
Linz: Yes.
Torres: Can you explain!
Linz: Paul asked me to bring Savon to Hulsen & Quinn to meet his half-brother; Thomas Cyril.
Torres: Did he pay?
Linz: Yes.
Torres: How much?
Linz: Two thousand dollars.
Torres: He says you failed. You were not able to convince Savon Martin. But you took the money.
Linz: I didn’t fail totally. I tried to make him agree to this offer and abandon 69 Church Street. He didn’t want to do it and I am not going to do something he didn’t want. I’m on Savon’s side.
Torres: Did you take him to Hulsen & Quinn?
Linz: To meet with his half-brother; Thomas Cyril. I did not go in. Nobody was allowed in. I stayed in my car. Paul was in his car in a parking lot. Savon did not know.
Torres: Did you cheat Savon Martin?
Linz: (Nodded) There I think I did. I’m sorry.
Torres: Did Mr Paul Clancy see the Carmen’s will in your possession?
Linz: No, he did not. He knew about it. I was keeping it.
Savon learnt about this will, and me too, only when Paul came to talk about it with me. His mother drowned in a lake. He…we, Savon and I, looked for it and found it.
It was in Savon’s possession when he died. Actually, with me. He gave to protect it. There was so much fraud going on with these law offices.
I also felt Paul behind the death of Savon. I saw nicotine in his possession. Savon died of nicotine overdose. I saw a Colombian, a hired assassin, his name I know as Curtis, in Paul’s car filling a syringe plunger with nicotine from a vial.
I have no proof to my story. I cannot prove that Paul was behind this…assassination. I put an article on Virago, a Chicago magazine, in the name of Jeff Lonnell, to tell the world that Savon’s death was murder. That girl, Mono, is also looking at it in that angle. I don’t think she has proof either.
Torres: There was another testament.
Linz: Yes. That came a total surprise. I didn’t know about another half-brother; Wellinois. Even Savon didn’t tell me about this half-brother. Paul was manipulating Wellinois and playing this dirty game with Hulsen & Quinn. It came up after Savon’s death.
Torres: Did Mr Paul Clancy force you in any manner to do what he wants?
Linz: No but later I feared that he might come after me.
Torres: You were keeping contact with Mr Clancy all this time.
Linz: I did not. He wanted to see me last year. Called my lawyers to see if I’m interested to sell my property in Del Rey. The offer was good. I engaged my lawyers.
Torres: Miss Natalia mentioned that you lied about hush money.
Linz: (Smiled) I lied. There is no hush money. This whole thing…I have to keep away. I will lie to Mono. I don’t know why she is in this.
Torres: Why didn’t you tell all about this to the police in Milwaukee? You never mentioned this during the police interview following Savon Martin’s death.
Linz: I want to get out. And I did. Now what’s different is that Mono, you know as a girl called Natalia, brings it up. I did not lie even then to the police. Only I kept my mouth shut and answered the questions they asked. Now I don’t have a choice. You’re asking and I’m here to tell.
Torres: Who are the people involved in this?
Linz: Paul can name them all. Jadon Quinn, Thomas Cyril, Wellinois and the Colombian. Me too, for that matter.
Torres: Where is the Carmen’s testament?
Linz: In a safe place with my lawyers.
Torres: Thank you, Miss Linz.
