I Got Me Here

Dreams don’t mix with nothing
It’s strange I miss something
I’ve run out of my ideas to begin with
Words always come short
And the notes I’m trying to sort
I can’t pick them on my guitar in any chord
I’m lost in my own words
To describe this world
In my eyes I can’t see a thing around
I wish I planted a seed
I could have done some deed
I don’t know why I haven’t tried it indeed
Guess there’s a talent I got
I haven’t discovered yet
I must have given up hope to give it a shot
I’m lost from all these cries
No matter how much I’ve tried
In this life I don’t know what role it ties
Since I got me here
I’m going nowhere
I like to get my feet on the ground and be there
I got me here
I’m listening to the willow
There’s nothing to mellow
I guess I’m not getting it right coz it’s hollow
I’m trying to hum a tune
Working on something new
I’m trying to sing a song but it’s not coming through
I’m lost in an effort of trying
Where the music is almost dying
The truth is I just don’t know what I’m doing
It’s not in the whispers
Nor the whistles or the echoes
When it occur it rings right through my ears
Let me think in silence
My mind doesn’t make sense
It’s gone and long forgotten for several years
I’ve lost the magical charm
I don’t wake up in my dream
When music flows to the brains like the stream
Since I got me here
I’m going nowhere
I like to get my feet on the ground and be there
I got me here
(You got me here)
I’m going nowhere
I like to get my feet on the ground and be there
I got me here
(You got me here)
I got me here
(You got me here)
