Translucent Eyes

Luca stares out of the small round window, watching the ground move from underneath them. As the plane descends, cities and towns grow nearer and clearer as they roll in through from the translucent clouds. Luca closes his eyes for a moment feeling claustrophobic from the warm and crowded air craft. He contemplated what his new home was going to be like, who would he meet? Would he find love?
