Two souls, one young one old,
Both to the hands of misery were sold.
Both raining tears like a storm,
And an opera of sorrow they perform.
Two souls, one falling to its doom,
One poisoned by the shadowy fumes.
Both taken with an unclean conscience,
Their calls for help now turned to silence.
Two souls, and their dying moments nibbled at
My heart like two starving rats.
Both quietly sailed away,
Only asking me to pray.
Two souls that will never be forgotten,
But will forever live in my heart like the setting sun...
