when she saw the photograph
looking like him
she glued herself to the expression
in his features was a
reflection of a man
who had drunk her passion
like tepid tea;
left her like a dry leaf
afloat in the sea.
It would take a shot of absinth
to get rid of that
eerie feeling that snaked inside,
that made her vagina tighten
but emotions withdraw
from a shuddering heart
for the photo
was of a young,violent rapist
'never get off the train
with a strange man'
he'd said to his victim,
but looking in the paper
she recognised that smile
of cunning,guile
the changeable faces
of the psychopath,
she closed the paper
and wondered
who the father was.
