Anger flows through the lines in his face,
All of his soldiers keeping to his pace,
He spots a child looking up at him,
He draws his pistol,
And the slaughtering begins.
Whilst family man at home,
Sit down with his kids,
And watches his wife make dinner,
And his work life is dismissed.
The memories and the smells,
Don’t seem to reach his home,
As he watches the furnaces lit,
And the bodies pile up in the pits.

I like the juxtaposition of the 'work life balance'.

I haven't been posting long myself but have not seen recent stuff from you - ?
Nice poem by the way, but lets have some more.
