Time pushes time

Time pushes time.
The hours run, the days
are disappearing fast
yet all too long they last.
I find the waiting
an agony.
When will it be
that we can run
together, leave
the world we know
and settle in this
long awaited fun room,
all glow and shadow
decadently in its thrall,
where Venus nods
approval in the hall
and velvet crimson carpets
drown the lust...
It must be home for now,
home where we roam
without distrust
taking the road to fantasy
together. No one to see
the lovers so determined
but the translucent curtain
eerily
fast floating in the wind
and blowing in the breeze,
the lonely song of birds
to seize all what's uncertain.
At last when dawn arrives,
a moment of despair
while gentle rain is drowning
relentlessly
the grey Parisian air.
