I had no idea maggots were called gentles, that is so horrid!!! I like your idea very much of flies being funeral directors too, and their "efficient fervour" even sounds buzzy/busy

Abundance is right! I love cats' ears too :0) Do you need to dig it up to make a meadow? It looks like you have a wonderful variety of species right now! Maybe could try plug plants of things like scabious as they can be a bit tricky from seed (...
This is gorgeous! I don't know how you make a few lines so full of space and light and freshness! I love "escape and rise" and "swells ripple", and the cosiness of "home" at the end, like a welcoming door. And you caught some beautiful wind in...
reminded me of being jealous of someone when i first started school and the teacher said she was away with the fairies. i was always checking to see if she sparkled, but she was always sad. it is a good way of finding people like me, if they are...

What struck me is how you were getting to know your father not because he was in your life, but because you found him in yourself. Missing someone you had never had, holding them inside yourself,...
I am not surprised your grandson loved it! I love it too, I should think EVERYONE would.
Particularly liked the bit about cows, and when Packham had to come up with the panda being invisible, could tell he was thinking on his paws. It is...

I love :
"Catch the cold steel moment
of its brief tangential light"
and "reckless beauty"
It does have the exciting feeling of electric guitar notes flowing into each other, also of how everything seems super intense,...
