Found the site in November 2011. Love the friendly and easy format. Write stories and the occasional poem. Have published three books, all available from Amazon. The East End Butcher Boy, Eastendbutchers Short Story Collection and The Men In The Shadows. Always amazed at the diversity of the site and the quality of the writing. Try to write as much as I can and like to try different styles. Hope you like my stories.

Really like this Tina, like Scratch, I was expecting a poem, but this piece of Prose is brilliant. Love the narrative running through it. Thought at first she was going to have a go at him, then you suprise us with his story. A feeling of love...

Read both of these adventures CM and found myself laughing when I am usually desperately trying to keep quiet. It's just after 6am and my wife is still asleep upstairs. I laughed out loud at the cheese sandwich saga, the dog barked and i can now...

I have come late to this Luke

I have come late to this Luke, but became hooked with it after just a few lines on part one. Have now read all four this morning. You have created a new world in this story, a weird, crazy, yet believable world, not an easy thing to do. Great...

A massive warm welcome to the site Stuart. Only read two of your pieces so far and both were good. But this...this is stunning. You have a talent for building a story with creative and superb narrative. This is one of the best things I've read on...

I really liked this. I liked the way it slowly built up. From the first line about hitting his girlfriend to shagging all the drunk slags in Ibiza, it told a great story about Daniel and the kind of man he was. And all this built around a one...

I love this CM. Wish I'd wrote it! It has just the right amount of humour and yet there is a message in their somewhere...
Read it twice now. Wherever Balloch is sounds like a million miles away so seven hours round trip is pretty fast.

I like this. Never saw it

I like this. Never saw it coming until he was at the fridge talking to her. I like the paragraph where you describe the sky as being bruised and the sirens yodel off into the distance. Great lines.

Hi mate, hope you're well.

Hi mate, hope you're well. This was a triumph of poetry madness. Exactly what I want from a Lavadis piece! Witty, intelligent, original, zany yet beautifully wonderful in its extremes.
Loved it.

Just thank god you came home safe and sound Siouxie. But what an experience for a teenager to go through. Great memories, well told.Read full commentPosted in Seventeen - Chapter Three
