“The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" (The tale of the Headless Horseman) is a ghost story set in Upstate New York in the town of Sleepy Hollow. It was written in 1820 by Washington Irving who lived there. The story has been depicted in plays, movies and even in Disney’s memorable cartoon form. I had visited this area when I was in New York and during Halloween the town does do justice to its legend...this sparked a story for me and what follows is a short story spun from that visit...I hope you enjoy it.

There is a morning dew feel in this poem; nature waking up, soft touches of beauty, so delicate, like the mayfly. Wonderful poem Jenny.

The pride of seeing your child find their talent, wherever it is found, is transforming. I had a similar experience with my younger son; I have a piano but no time to play and decades passed since my days of lessons and time enjoying it. The...

Beautiful and lyrical is your ode to a butterfly and its beautiful dance through life. It is sad to think their life span is so short, but in that short time they do create many smiles. Well deserved POD.

You truly need to publish these screwball comedy vignettes. You have the dialogue and scene set down pat; all you need to do is slap it between two book covers.
Eating bugs for beer what a concept, rather disgusting but it made for a very...
