On Earth Day 22nd April 2023.

 

Wish earth's anguish

would diminish, let

nature be a welcome

guest at celebration

for World Peace.

 

We would be

balanced in rich

encouraging trust,

not deceived by

greed, or harshness,

 

mistakes be a

thing of the past,

so we can all sing

of our home that

should be paradise.

Your sentiments in this poem reflect, for me, the immortal words of John Lennon:

"Imagine all the people sharing all the world- You may say I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one - I hope someday you'll join us and the world will live as One."

If only we could see the damage we do everyday and commit to caring more about our planet. We could make a difference and then those sentiments would come to pass.

Hi Nolan,

I always like to look on the bright side, and live in hope that love and peace will reign supreme in the end.

Our earth home is so beautiful and strong, taking care of us humans, I find it so sad that some people don't respect what is ultimately our only hope for survival.
